The official website of the stage play adaptation of Osamu Akimoto's KochiKame manga unveiled a
promotional video and new visual for the play on July 22, 2016. The video features the cast in costume in the real-life Kameari area in Tokyo as they sing the song "Oide yo Kameari" from the television anime.

The play will run from September 9 to 19, 2016 at Tokyo's AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo, and from September 23 to 25, 2016 at Osaka's Sankei Hall Breeze.
